Charice, the Pinay international singing sensation, who rose to fame after her Youtube video was put up over the internet was laus the J-14 Magazine’s Icon of Tomorrow awarded in the magazine’s Teen Icon Awards. She was up against Greyson Chance, Frankie Jonas, Bella Thorne, Bridgit Mendler and Cody Simpson.
Teen Icon Awards is an annual event that gives recognition to the famous and most influential teen stars whether it is in television, movie or the music scene.
According to reports, Charice has the Charice Internet Army along with her mother, who was behind the campaign for her win as she garners the most votes for the category. Because of this, Charice will be featured in the December issue of the magazine which will also include other winners in the Teen Icon Awards.
Charice’s stint on Glee will probably make her hotter as she will grace the show’s Never Been Kissed Episode on November 9.
